Spring and Easter Speech Therapy Activities: Low and No Prep Ideas

Spring and Easter Speech Therapy Made Simple!

I know this time of year can get extra wild between IEPs, testing season, and all the springtime energy buzzing through your speech room. So I want to help make your springtime speech therapy activities a little easier to plan with these seriously easy, low-prep (more like no-prep) spring and Easter-themed speech therapy activities that’ll save your sanity and keep your kids engaged. These are the kinds of activities that do the heavy lifting for you—while still getting those high trials and meaningful language reps we’re all aiming for.

Let’s dive in to three of my go-to, grab-and-go resources that have saved me more times than I can count.

Easter and Spring speech therapy activities

1. Year-Round Speech Therapy Crafts – With a Springtime Bunny Bonus!

You know those activities that make your room cuter and help you hit your goals? This is one of them. This seasonal craft bundle work for articulation and language—and they’re perfect for mixed groups. Each worksheet turns into an adorable themed craft (think bunny headbands or flower crowns for spring and sandcastles for summer), and your students can work on their individual targets while creating something they’re proud of.

The spring and Easter bunny crafts are perfect right now for spring speech therapy activities, but the real MVP here is the year-round variety. You’ll get 20+ themed crafts for everything from Halloween and St. Patrick’s Day to farm animals and ocean scenes. No prep, no stress, and so many built-in goals. And my kids literally BEG to make these.

✅ Great for bulletin boards, door décor, or take-home fun
✅ Includes speech goals (all positions!) AND tons of language targets
✅ Comes with a blank template for custom targets

2. Cut & Glue Easter Egg Speech Worksheets – No Prep, Super Engaging

If your students love cutting, gluing, and being hands-on, you’re going to love these. This print-and-go spring craft includes 87 worksheets with articulation and language targets—all wrapped up in a cute Easter/bunny theme. Kids get to color, cut, and glue to design their Easter basket while targeting their own goals…which makes it perfect for mixed groups.

You can use the same craft across your whole group and differentiate by target. And yes—there’s a blank version so you can write in anything you want.

✅ Covers 16 phonemes, clusters, vocalic R, and more
✅ Includes language skills like object function, plurals, pronouns, categories
✅ Perfect pairing with spring books or Easter-themed stories

3. Digital Surprise Eggs – Like a Speechy Easter Egg Hunt!

Easter and spring speech therapy digital activities for speech therapy

Okay, this one is just plain fun. Whether you’re doing teletherapy or using a device in person, these digital surprise eggs bring the excitement of an Easter egg hunt straight into your speech sessions. Create the anticipation and excitement as you lead up to opening the egg. Use words like “tap” or “knock-knock” or "open" before opening each egg and finding a hidden item inside. Then, you build your goal practice around what they reveal!

There are specific eggs for speech goals and language goals. You can target everything from VC/CVC words and seasonal vocabulary to describing, categorizing, and more. But you don’t have to follow the rules (I never do)! This activity is also great as a simple, engaging reinforcer…especially for your littlest clients.

✅ Super engaging and interactive
✅ Targets early sounds, seasonal themes, categories, verbs, and more
✅ Great for teletherapy, iPad use, or on-screen fun
